Filming In Washington

When shooting in the state of Washington you should get in contact with Washington Filmworks. They are a non-profit organization willing to help and guide you through the process of securing locations, permits and providing helpful information.






Film Insurance Requirements in the State of
Washington
We recommend holding and providing:
Certificate(s) of Insurance (COI) as evidence of General Liability coverage in the amount not less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence.
A separate additional insured endorsement for the COI with the following wording: “the State of Washington, including its officers, agents and employees is named as additional insured, with respect to liability arising out of the operations related to filming on Washington state-owned or operated property.”
Workers Compensation coverages for all crew and employees.
