Filming In Utah

Utah is a geological diverse state consisting of the Great Basin, the Rocky Mountains and the Colorado Plateau. The state is also home of five National Parks, which makes the state third overall across the United States. Having hosted the Olympics in 2002, the state is a perfect spot for winter activities. With cities like Salt Lake, Park City to mention just a few, the state of Utah is a splendid place for a shoot. Not to mention, it’s also host to the famous Sundance & Slamdance Film Festivals providing a launching point for some of the most exciting films and industry talent in the world.

Film Insurance Requirements in the State of

We recommend holding: 

Certificate(s) of Insurance (COI) as evidence of General Liability coverage in the amount not less than $1,000,000 for each occurrence.

A separate additional insured endorsement for the COI with the following wording: “the State of Utah, including its officers, agents and employees is named as additional insured, with respect to liability arising out of the operations related to filming on Utah state owned or operated property.”

Workers Compensation coverages for all crew and employees.
